Set up your multicam podcast in six steps.

Sync your camera recordings
Place each camera recording on its own video track. Select the clips, right-click, and use Premiere Pro’s Synchronize feature. Move the synced recordings to the start of the sequence.

Add speakers and assign tracks
Open Window → Extensions → AutoEdit Creator Mode and choose Podcast Mode. Add each speaker by name, then assign their camera track: for example, Jack on V2 and Devin on V1.

Link the right microphone audio
Link each camera clip to that speaker’s individual microphone recording. If a clip is linked to a shared call recording, unlink it and link the correct microphone audio before analyzing.

Analyze the conversation
Click Analyze. AutoEdit detects when each speaker is talking and prepares camera switches from your track assignments and linked audio.

Set the pace of the switches
Adjust switching frequency and minimum shot duration. Click Auto Balance to generate the proposed switching adjustments before applying them.
- 06
Apply edits and review the episode
Click Apply Edits to build the multicam cut on your timeline. Watch the result and adjust cuts, reaction shots, and pacing before your final export.
