Open the Library tab
Open AutoEdit inside Premiere Pro and switch to Library. This is where your saved B-roll and sound effects live.

Choose Add Clips
Select the MOV, MP4, MP3, or WAV files you use regularly: that film-burn overlay, a favorite cutaway, or your go-to sound effects.

Apply a saved clip
Click the clip you need in the Library to add it to your timeline. Repeat whenever the edit needs another saved clip.

Finish the edit
Adjust the clip on your timeline and continue your sound or graphics pass. Your library is ready for the next project.

The planned project import will let you add 5–10 past Premiere Pro project files and identify the B-roll clips you use most often, so you spend less time adding them manually.

Let Claude help place your B-roll.
A later Claude Creator Mode update is planned to analyze your B-roll’s visual context and add metadata, so Claude can choose and apply relevant saved clips to your timeline. This is not available yet.

Which files can I add?
Add MOV and MP4 video files, plus MP3 and WAV audio files. Use your own frequently used B-roll, overlays, sound effects, and music.
Where do I find Fast B-roll?
Open the Library tab inside the AutoEdit Premiere Pro plugin. Choose Add Clips to save files you want to reuse, then click a saved clip to apply it to your timeline.
Does it automatically find clips from my old projects?
Not yet. Importing past Premiere Pro projects to find frequently used clips is coming soon. For now, choose the files you want to add with Add Clips.
